This pencil is made from a twig of the Neem tree, which is found in India. Indians believe Neem products have antiseptic properties and clean the blood of impurities. Extracts from the tree are used in toothpaste, soaps for babies, cosmetics and pencils for children. Pencils are approximately 6-7" long and have to be sharpened the old-fashioned way (with a knife).
